Three's A Charm!

Photobucket

Hello and welcome to my blog! I hope you are enjoying the hop so far - I know there are lots of awesome projects to see and I'm so glad you're here. If you came from Ellen's blog, then you're on the right track. If you're just popping in and want to join the hop, you can start here. And if you're not sure if you're coming or going and you're feeling rather lost, there is a complete list of participants in order at the bottom of this post, so you can relax and enjoy!

I am really excited to be part of the three's a charm blog hop showcasing projects from Sunshine's Stamps, The Stamping Boutique, and Ildico. I am a member of Sunshine's Stamps Dream Team, so I will be representing that particular company today! And I am excited about what I have to share with you!

My first creation was made using the Waving Snowman digital stamp. I could not resist this stamp when it was showed to me because I love snowmen! This little guy is beyond cute and I know that you will agree! I decided to go with non traditional colours for this card because I was feeling in the mood for a little purple! I just love the way this guy sparkles and shines! It makes me feel all warm inside and a little less depressed that winter is upon us.

This second card was created with the Skater Stamp. I didn't want to over embellish with this card because I didn't want to take away from the adorable image, so I chose subtle embellishments like the snowflake ribbon and just a few sprinkles. I think adding the lace border was the perfect touch to give this card the finishing touches, don't you? I love this image and look forward to using it again!

Now, I know you're itching to shop since you've seen so many gorgeous creations so far in this hop and are excited about the rest of the gorgeous projects that you are going to see along the way. So I thought you might like to know that with the purchase of two images in the store, you will receive this fabulous image for free!

How exciting! Also, Sunshine's Stamps is offering up all the Christmas images to one lucky winner. So make sure you leave a comment on ALL OF THE BLOGS in this hop to be able to qualify! Now you're off to see what Kylie has created, but if you're lost or not sure where to start in the hop, here's the complete list!

Thanks for stopping by today and participating in the Three's A Charm blog hop. I hope you've enjoyed my creations. Feel free to come back anytime!

Happy Hopping!

Sunshine's Stamps

It is a bright, crisp, COLD morning here. I survived the walk to preschool but am thankful for willing parents who don't mind driving my son back home. Brrr, it is cold! And I know it is going to get even colder. Thank you, Canada!

Today I've got something fun to share with you! It's my first time designing for Sunshine's Stamps, and I've created a fun card perfect for any little boy (or big one!) Usually I have a hard time making boy cards, but this one was meant to be - it all came together so nicely!

Like this cute little bunny? It's a digital stamp called Red Hot and you can purchase it for yourself right here! I am looking forward to creating more fun projects with this stamp. Speaking of creating, don't forget to come back tomorrow and see what I create for the Three's A Charm blog hop!

Happy Stamping!

Annabelle Sketch and Candy!

Hello everyone, I am back and have started to recover from birthday week - it certainly makes it interesting when you and your son have a birthday only two days apart. Thankfully, there is still another three weeks before my youngest son's birthday - I am glad he wasn't born two days after my oldest son's birthday, I think that would have been a little too much for me to handle. Last night, after the partying was over and the kids were in bed, I passed out on the couch from exhaustion and only had enough energy to be pampered by my hubby and watch a movie. I didn't even have it in me to craft - that is pretty dismal! Well, enough about me, I have some exciting news!!

Today is the very first sketch challenge on the Annabelle Stamps blog! I am very excited and hope that you will go on over and participate. Since it is a special day, I thought I would use an Annabelle stamp I haven't used before - this one is a singles stamp called Party Cupcake. It is so cute and how appropriate for this birthday week, don't you think?

Here is the lovely sketch from Andrea:

And here is my card, "Cupcakes Forever!" which is pretty much how I've felt this last week with all the cupcakes that I've made and decorated for Aiden and his various celebrations. Haha! I love the way this card looks with all the bling, so pretty!

I am very excited to see what you come up with for this very first challenge! And don't forget about the amazing new blog candy on the Annabelle blog, you have until November 22nd to enter your name for the drawing, where the winner will receive all of this:

Isn't Andrea generous? The new release stamps are really awesome, and I have just received mine in the mail yesterday so I am excited to get inky with them! Well, that is it for me for now, I will let you get crafty and I can't wait to see what you create for this challenge!!

Creating Fun

Last night I was able to get some cards made just for fun! I have been so busy filling orders for Christmas cards and getting prepared for the craft fair in November that I haven't done anything just for the heck of it. And it felt really good!

This first card is a Halloween card, obviously. It's for the Stampin' for the Weekend challenge as well as the Stamp Something challenge for the theme of Halloween. And it's for the Simon Says challenge to sparkle - I added some stickles to her dress to make it look shimmery and it's very pretty when you're looking at it but unfortunately does not photograph well.

This second card is kind of fun - I made it for my son's friend who is having a birthday tomorrow. The sentiment inside says - You're Out of This World! Happy Birthday! - which I thought fit nicely. The sketch is courtesy of Friday Sketchers, though I took some liberty and titled it a bit. And it is also for the allsorts challenge this week to use your furry friends!!

This next card is for the Everybody Art Challenge theme this week, autumn. I love this little scarecrow. This paper is my favourite from the Bo Bunny line Kitchen Spice, so I had to use it for the Daring Cardmakers challenge this week. And I've used the colour orange with the colour brown for the Saturday Challenge. And last, but not least, the sketch is courtesy of Cupcake Craft Challenge this week!

I love the way this last card turned out. I had the image coloured and ready to go for a few weeks now but didn't know what to do with it until I saw the Just Magnolia sketch challenge. I took a few liberties since I did not use an oval, but otherwise the sketch worked perfectly for this. I love how it turned out!

It was fun to play along in a few challenges again and I had a great time crafting! Now, I have some exciting news! I was selected with a few others to join the Sunshine's Stamps Dream Team for a three month segment. So stay tuned for some cool creations featuring Sunshine's Stamps soon!

Happy Stamping!!
